The bad smell in the feet is not a very pleasant situation that we say, and in certain occasions it can be cause for ridicule or something that we can be ashamed of. Although we don’t always have control over its causes, we can end the problem
Like most body odors, foot odors are caused by bacteria, so we must eliminate them with proper hygiene, change of diet, and the support of some home remedies.
1. The Alka Seltzer could help
Dissolve two pills in warm water and dip your feet in it for 15 minutes. This helps you because the baking soda balances the PH of the feet, eliminating the bad smell. You can do it twice a week.
2. Some of the magical baking soda
In a bucket mix 1/4 cup of baking soda, one liter of water and the juice of two lemons. Dip your feet for 15 minutes and rinse with cold water. You can repeat it twice a week.
3. A little lemon
After bathing you can run half a lemon over your feet, let it dry, and then wear your shoes as usual.
4. Vinegar instead of talc
Mix a liter of water and a cup of white vinegar, soak your feet for 15 minutes. The acidity of the vinegar kills the bacteria that can cause the bad smell. Repeat the process only once a week.
5. Jelly, for dessert or shoes?
Another little known but very effective patch is to dip your feet in jelly. Make a jelly in the usual way and after it sets, put your feet in for 20 minutes.
6. A relaxing bath
Soak your feet in a bowl of water and some of the following ingredients: black tea, vinegar, or table salt, keep them submerged for 15 minutes, and then dry them well.
7. The scent of a ginger root
Take a ginger root, grate it and put it in a bowl of water until it boils 10 to 15 minutes. Strain the mixture with a coffee filter, and then massage your feet with the liquid obtained.
8. Cat litter
Literal. Put some cat litter in a cloth or sock bag and let it sit inside your shoes at night.
